The Changing Seasons – March

It’s Changing Seasons time again – where did that month go? This is challenge set by blogging friend Cardinal Guzman from Oslo to capture the changing seasons each month someone in your home town.  I’ve chosen to shoot around the Southbank/Federation Square/Flinder St Station precinct. There are links to the January and February posts at the bottom of this page.

This month’s photos were taken last Saturday evening. I was hoping for a nice sunset on the river but the sky was very cloudy. The weather is now a little cooler as we move into Autumn. There were lots of tourists around as the Grand Prix was on last weekend and it was also the final few days of the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival.

Here’s what I saw.

    1. You would certainly love it. We have chefs and wine experts come from all over the world. It goes for about three weeks. Thanks for the feedback.

      1. Brilliant. I probably know some of the Australian chefs that have guest starred in Masterchef Australia.

        1. I didn’t realise Australian Masterchef was televised in Europe. Yes you would definitely know many of the chefs involved then, including George and Gary.

  5. Even if it was cloudy, you still showed the life…the vibrancy of the city in the photos you shot and posted, very nice! 🙂

    1. Thanks Lucile. It’s getting a little harder each month to find different things to photograph. I may need to go a bit further afield from now on.

      1. You’re welcome. I had this feeling already in the 2nd month.
Then I changed the plan. What I do now is the following: I repeat just a few ones where I show a bit of city and nature and the others are new parts of the city. It became a bit of s city tour. Lol but otherwise it would be boring. Doing the changing seasons in the city, requires variety as it”s not not all about nature.
