I have a new camera

I’ve just bought myself a new camera – an Olympus OMD EM-5 II to be precise. It has so many more bells and whistles than any camera I’ve used before and is going to take me quite some time to learn how everything works. But after trying it out around the city today I’m already very impressed. It’s been a while since I posted some street art so I visited some favourite lanes to check out what’s new.

If you get as much pleasure from your new camera Michelle, as I get from looking at your photography it will prove to be an outstanding purchase. Enjoy

    1. It’s my pleasure! I thought of you when I was taking them. Not sure if it’s what you’re after but I can do some more.

  4. So many good pieces! I enjoyed them all really but you already know that I absolutely LOVE the one with the little girl watching the artists. I also liked the other ones capturing the artist creating their art as well as the one of the fellow standing in front of the colorful face. Missing street art here in Fiji (but there are so many other things to love about the place). Congrats on the new camera. Look forward to seeing more!

    1. Thanks CG! I’m really loving it. Can’t believe I waited for so long. I just need to find time to get out and play with it a bit more.

      1. I’m dealing with the same issue. Now I need more time to play! Going to photograph some models in Krakow this weekend, so I’ll hopefully learn a lot.

        1. Sounds interesting! You did a great job with the model on your On the Way post. Are you hoping to make some money out of it eventually?

          1. My “on the way” post was just a random scene that I came across. I’ve posted several model shoots earlier: https://cardinalguzman.wordpress.com/?s=model

I don’t think that I’ll make any money out of photographing, but you never know what’ll happen…
