Today Was a Good Day is the theme for this week’s challenge. We’ve been asked to post a series of photos using an app called Mesh to describe an ideal day. I’ve not used Mesh before and started with the built in captions, but found they covered most of the photo so decided to describe my day in this post instead.
Yesterday was a perfect day for me, starting with the news that the temperature would reach 20 degrees. A perfect day must always start with perfect coffee which I enjoyed along with a long brunch with my brother and a friend before heading down to Brighton for an afternoon of sailing.
I arrived a little early so after a leisurely stroll down the pier, I spent some time watching the dogs frolicking at their special part of the beach, before getting the boat ready to sail. The afternoon’s sailing was near perfect, although a little more wind would have been nice. After packing up the boat we headed to the bar for a beer and to enjoy the spectacular sunset.
It was a beautiful evening so I went back into Birrarung Marr in the city to do some more night photography practice, followed by dinner and a drink in the City Square. And so ended my perfect day.

I love your #7 shot. That just looks so cool. Much of the rest of your pics just fills me with envy, as I’ve rarely had the opportunity of visiting a beach and all times but once, the water was too cold. And the other time, being a kid and dad not wanting us to have too much fun, I wasn’t allowed to go into the water. 🙂
