Today we’ve been asked to provide a shot of something that we treasure. While I treasure my daughters more than anything in the world they didn’t seem the right choice for this challenge. Instead I’m going with something that gives me treasured time away from it all each week – sailing. I took up sailing about a year ago and every Wednesday evening over the spring and summer months I go out onto Port Phillip Bay for twilight racing. While out there I forget all my worries and enjoy stunning views of the city, the beaches and the setting sun. Here is a photograph I took a few weeks ago from our yacht.
So relaxing looking

I love the curve of the sails, the light, the feeling of movement — this is lovely.

Thank you. I’m pleased that I was able to capture those same feelings that I have when I’m out there.
